MARBLE TILES
Marble tiles are available in a huge variety of colours and a large range of sizes. Floor tiles and wall tiles can often be matched with cut to size slabs from stonemason suppliers.
POLISHED FINISH: Marble tiles are usually suplie with a highly polished finish, though some like travertine and jerusalem marble are available with a honed (eggshell finish) face.
COLOURS OF MARBLE: The colour range of marble tiles is huge and even withen the same type of marble the variation in colour and hue can be very wide. So the rule with all marbles is "buy what you see".
RECTANGULAR SAWN TO SIZE MARBLE:If you are buying marble tiles to match cut to size panels, for instance in a bathroom, it would be best to buy both tiles and panels from the same source.
If that is not possible cheque for color using several tiles from different boxes as the colour can vary even within the same box.
Marble tiles make the most luxurious finish to a bathroom or kitchen, it is the natural variation in color, shade an veining that artificial alternatives just cannot match, that makes marble so desirable.
